Do you want to be a professional of production work? Are you interested in working in Keminmaa as part of a skilled team?

We are offering you the opportunity to study a new trade in the wood industry through apprenticeship training independent of your prior education. You will be studying alongside work as well as learning on the job while being paid and practising new challenging and interesting tasks.

We expect you to be genuinely interested in the field and eager to learn new things and improve yourself.

We require you to be at least 18 years old and be willing to do double shift work. You should speak finnish at basic level and you are willing to learn more finnish language.

As the basis of your training, we are offering you a temporary two-year employment contract through Barona working as part of a skilled team in a well-established wood construction company in Keminmaa. The work is carried out at the Keminmaa factory.

The training is organised by Taitotalo. During the two-year apprenticeship training, the employee will earn a vocational qualification in the wood industry and will be given the opportunity to enter into a permanent employment relationship after the two-year apprenticeship period is over.

The training includes ten to twelve training days, some of which will be taught remotely. Most of the learning will take place at the workplace. The overall duration of the training is around two years. Your education path will be tailored to suit you, and your previous experience and education will be acknowledged and taken into account.
