We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Marketing Assistant to join our International Marketing team. Our marketing department supports building Barona global visibility and attracting the best candidates for multiple work sectors, including Industry, HoReCa, Construction, or Logistics. As our new Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for running our social media page and assist with the job level digital marketing campaigns. This is a great development opportunity for an entry-level marketer or a student (preferred field of studies - marketing, communications, social media) with a passion for digital marketing and willingness to gain one of the first working experiences in a multinational environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be part of a fast-paced environment, so your role might also change, in line with your evolution in the company. For the start, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Collaborating with our marketing and international recruitment teams

  • Building and developing our company's online identity, by producing engaging content and visuals for the marketing channels such as social media, website, blog, SEM

  • Managing our Facebook page - scheduling and managing paid and organic posts, replying to comments and messages, and growing our Facebook community

  • Plan and execute online marketing campaigns, aligned with our business targets (Google, Meta)

  • Use Google Analytics for gathering data insights to drive the targets and strategy forward

  • Support in elevating the job postings, to increase their attractivity and visibility among the applicants

  • Participating in employer branding activities – job fairs and events

  • Closely cooperating with the marketing team from our main office in Finland, but also Poland

  • Possibility to use your creativity and fresh approach in planning and organizing remote internal team activities for our international team

  • Salary: 5,50 - 6 €/h (based on your experiences and professional knowledge), possibility of salary growth - depending on your personal performance

  • The work is done mainly during office hours, but we offer you flexibility if you’re pursuing your studies. At the moment, we are working in a hybrid model, so we hope you will have availability also to work in the office hours.

REQUIREMENTS:

We believe you will manage in this role if you have:

  • Very good writing, copywriting, and communication skills

  • Experience in creating texts and content for blogs, websites, social media

  • Experience in creating visuals, and graphics in Photoshop, Canva, or others

  • Knowledge of at least 1 paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) or paid search channels (Google) add extra credit to your application

  • Previous work experience in a marketing/ communication position or internship is seen as an advantage

  • Fluency in English and Slovak, both in written and verbal communication, as our working language is English. Other language skills are a plus.

  • Creative approach and a keen eye for details

  • An interest in Employer branding and digital advertising

  • Teamwork skills, but at the same time able to work independently

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively, prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Friendly attitude and sense of humor are great assets to our team
