About working in xChange

The duration of the programme that has the objective of working remotely abroad is 6 or 12 months. During the exchange period, the employee’s work tasks remain the same or they will be modified to suit remote work. The employee will report to the same supervisor as usual during the exchange, but will live in Spain and work in Barona’s service centre’s premises.

During the exchange, the employee is employed by Barona. The employment in Finland will “rest” and return back to normal automatically as the exchange ends. When implemented this way, Barona can take care of all bureaucracy related to sending an employee to work in Spain.
