Sourcing Specialist, Fortum
Fortum is seeking a motivated sourcing specialist to join their procurement operations team located in Espoo, Finland or Stockholm, Sweden. In this role, you will handle procurement-related tasks and provide excellent service to the procurement and business teams. The position is full-time and temporary (parental leave) until April 2026. The desired start date for the position is January 2025. The employment contract will be signed with Barona.
Your other key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring tactical sourcing services are provided on time and with high quality and operational efficiency
- Participating in the optimization of Source-to-Pay processes and the development of procurement systems
- Supporting and executing RFx, negotiations, and contracting in alignment with strategic sourcing
- Participating in predefined projects (supporting, tendering and contracting activities etc.)
Our expectations:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. supply chain management or procurement)
- 2–3 years of experience in procurement.
- Hands-on approach, open mindset, and a can-do attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to drive initiatives forward.
- Prior experience with Source-to-Pay systems is considered an asset
- Proficiency in Finnish, English and Swedish. Additional languages are considered as assets.
