Technician for Hyperion Robotics Oy

Hyperion Robotics is looking for a technician to join their product development teams in support of their 3D-printing system. You will be the one helping to ensure that the production is running smoothly, so we hope you love both proper system building and firefighting. The role will begin with a fixed-term contract for 8 months. There will be a possibility to transition to a direct contract with Hyperion Robotics at the end of the fixed term, based on performance and business needs. Initially, there will be 2 to 3 shifts per week, with the expectation that the role will become full-time as the project progresses

In this role, you will be:

• Installing and assembling electrical and mechanical systems and components according to specifications and safety standards.
• Wiring electrical components and connecting devices to the automation control box.
• Setting up network communications between devices.
• Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assisting engineers to run and document various tests.
• Maintaining detailed records of installations, maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
• Suggesting new solutions that will improve overall performance.

Basic qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Education in Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• (Nice to have) Certification to handle 220V and 400V wiring.

Technical skill set

• Working knowledge of electrical principles and components.
• Ability to read and implement wiring and piping diagrams.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and components.

Operational skill set

• Proficient spoken and written English, with good communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to travel up to 2 months a year.
