Filipino nurse Cyndy landed her dream job as a nurse in Finland, the land of a thousand lakes

Filipino nurse Cyndy Liongson traveled to Finland to pursue a career in nursing. Aside from the excellent education, she was drawn to Finland by the diverse professional prospects and stunning nature. Thanks to Barona's assistance, Cyndy could relocate to Finland and start working in her dream job in a nursing home.

"Barona made it possible for me to live in the world's happiest country. I am currently employed at Kitinkannus, providing holistic care to elderly residents in homecare settings. We are responsible for supporting our customers in their daily lives and managing their medicine and therapy. In addition to my job,  I am studying to become a Terhikki registered practical nurse in Finland ", Cyndy explains.

Recruitment process is simple and friendly

Working overseas had long been Cyndy's desire, but the decision to relocate to Finland came in the blink of an eye. The selection was influenced by Barona's simple recruitment process, which Cyndy describes as simple to approach.

"I worked as a registered nurse in the Philippines before moving to Finland in September 2022. Before, I had pondered migrating to the United States or the United Kingdom until I saw an advertisement for a job opportunity in Finland. I immediately began investigating the country of Finland and what it would be like to live there. I was quickly selected in the recruitment process, which moved fast and consistently. I was qualified for the job, but I had to undergo 7 months of online language training before I could work in a foreign nation ", explains Cyndy.

Cyndy has gained new experiences and opportunities as a result of her relocation to Finland.  Cyndy enjoys Finland's unique features, such as pure nature and world-class education.

"As a mother of two children, Finland seemed like a fantastic place to live: my children can attend good colleges and become global citizens here. Also, Finland offers beautiful nature and four seasons to enjoy, "Cyndy continues.

Integration was simple, thanks to Barona's continuous support

Candidates, according to Cyndy, were well taken care of during the recruitment and integration processes. Cyndy was eager to roll up her sleeves and start working for a Finnish business after completing the language training offered by Barona.

"The language course was challenging because the language was unfamiliar to me. But I had great motivation, and I'm happy I accomplished it. The only thing we had to invest as candidates was our time ", explains Cyndy.
